Founded in Neuchâtel in 2011 by Aram Petrosyan and Kalust Zorik, KERBEDANZ is an independent Swiss watchmaking Maison dedicated to the creation of rare, symbolic and profoundly singular timepieces.

The KERBEDANZ 65’27” Arctic Blue Dial, Palladium Edition embodies a new expression of independent Swiss Haute Horlogerie: refined, architectural and profoundly symbolic.

Presented in the Essential category, this creation deliberately embraces the purity of its functions: hours and minutes. Yet behind this apparent simplicity lies a demanding horological, aesthetic and artisanal pursuit. The 65’27” does not seek to multiply complications; instead, it chooses to reinvent the essential, giving the reading of time an emotional, mechanical and poetic dimension.

This unisex timepiece features a 38 mm case crafted in palladium 950, expressing a philosophy of discreet luxury. Rarely used in contemporary watchmaking, palladium offers a noble presence, a distinctive density and a naturally restrained elegance. In this edition, it enters into dialogue with the Arctic Blue dial, creating an encounter between purity, light and mastery.

At the heart of this horological creation lies an original interpretation of the time display. An ultra-thin 0.5 mm rotating hour disc with a honeycomb structure, a pomme-style minute hand and a precious marker (a diamond) enter into a subtle mechanical choreography. This honeycomb architecture optimises the balance between thinness, lightness and stability, while preserving the precision required for the display. Every 65 minutes and 27 seconds, these elements align to reveal a fleeting instant of harmony. This is not merely about indicating the time, but about giving rise to a moment: an intimate rendezvous between precision, light and memory.

The Arctic Blue hour disc is hand-snail-finished, according to an artisanal savoir-faire that brings its surface to life through delicate variations of light. With the slightest movement of the watch, the grooves capture the light differently, revealing shifting nuances and an almost hypnotic depth. This delicate and demanding finish reinforces the contemplative dimension of the piece. The 65’27” thus remains perfectly essential in its functions, while offering a richness of execution rarely associated with a watch in this category.

Powered by the ultra-thin automatic calibre KRB10 A, the 65'27'' retains a slim, elegant and perfectly proportioned profile. Through the sapphire caseback, it reveals a systemic titanium oscillating rotor, also snail-finished, set with three diamonds and fitted with a hand. This technical component becomes a true aesthetic signature: it asserts the automatic nature of the movement while extending the decorative language of the dial. The reverse side is therefore not merely a mechanical space, but a second stage upon which the artisan’s hand, the architecture of the movement and the identity of KERBEDANZ are expressed.

Limited to 27 allocations, the 65’27” Palladium Arctic Blue is a creation of balance, rarity and quiet strength. It does not seek ostentation, but meaning.
