Description

This celestial time instrument combines a historical watch making feat in the shape of the tourbillon with that of a truly unique, retrograde moon phase function. The cycle has been calculated on the moons exact synodic period. A synodic period is the time required for a body within the solar system to return to the same position relative to the Sun as seen by an observer on the Earth. The high-precision performance of the moon phase system, hand-touch up painted, and the tourbillon are not the only characteristics of this rare timepiece. It features fantastic constellations which decorate the movement. This time and space instrument has been realized in the line of John Arnolds marine chronometer technique with a pinch of contemporary design and poetry.

Supplied by the brand to the GPHG for its entry.
