So it\u2019s only natural to find a blend of passion and creativity in Tobacco, the latest, smoking hot creation from this emerging independent brand. "Today, if you\u2019ve got the guts to be a little daring \u2013 and have the right technical resources \u2013 you can create unique dials for highly exclusive timepieces, mirroring the many and varied interests of lovers of unconventional watches," emphasizes Yvan Arpa. And indeed, that\u2019s how the Tobacco was born \u2013 the first timepiece with a dial to be fully clad in genuine tobacco leaves. For this creation, Yvan Arpa has chosen leaves matching the precise shades he was looking for. Practically speaking, cigar-lovers will be free to choose the origin of their cigar leaves \u2013 Cuba, Ecuador, Brazil, India, Nicaragua, or beyond \u2013 as well as the brand to be used, ranging from Cohiba, Trinidad, Vegas Robaina and Montecristo to Cuaba. The idea underlying all this is customization, which in turn is ArtyA\u2019s leitmotif: creation and innovation to match clients\u2019 tastes as closely as possible. For the Tobacco, if clients so request, the brand is even ready to use tobacco leaves from their own personal collections. What better way could there be to express one\u2019s love of watches than to possess one\u2019s own, unique, bespoke timepiece \u2013 made using components that are themselves very special for the owner? A minimalist design for a timeless watch To give full expression to the contours and warm colours of the Tobacco, ArtyA has decided to endow it with a very sober steel case, aptly named the Classique. Round in shape, it comes in three sizes from 42 to 44 mm, in either steel or pink gold. The first of these versions features gold and bronze coloured inserts on the housing made of Artyor, an exclusive ArtyA alloy, giving the dial a warmer look. The second is made entirely from pink gold, giving the Tobacco a unique unity of colour. The piece also sports three open-work hands in matching gold or steel hues, revealing the liveliness and intensity of the dial to the full. As on all ArtyA limited-edition timepieces, the watch features a tailor-made strap, in a warm brown hue with brown overstitching \u2013 a perfect match for the tobacco leaves on the dial. Each hand-sewn strap, especially designed for the Tobacco, is individually made using Italian leatherworking knowhow: adding a natural, authentic touch that seems to spring straight from the tobacco fields of South America.\t
