Description

Stollenwurm Series 1 turns to one of the oldest frameworks of time: the seven-day cycle. The date appears in Arabic numerals, the day in the symbols of the Sun, Moon, and five classical planets.

Here the Day-Date complication is reimagined as ancient astronomical glyphs, each one a day of the planetary week. Hand-stylized by our internationally renowned artist Hannah Perry Saucier, they replace the lettered abbreviation of the dial.

On each dial they are rendered with the same care as the hands and indexes, to catch the light. What might have been functional alone becomes a field of meaning , the intent shared across all twelve references of Series 1.

This new violet ombré dial hypnotizes you at first glance. Between shadow and light: a travel’s invitation into the cavern of the Stollenwurm.

Thus, Series 1 lays the ground for what follows, each collection a different way of reading time, each a new chapter in the tale of Stollenwurm. The date anchors us in sequence, while the day opens onto allegory, where celestial bodies once ruled over hours, tempers, and destinies.

The cases and bracelets are forged from tantalum and platinum, two materials rarely tamed and rarer still combined. Platinum carries an enduring heft, and tantalum runs dark and dense, notoriously hard to work. Together they embody resistance, weight, and permanence, the same qualities that shape Stollenwurm's understanding of time: layered, unyielding, full of hidden gravity

Inside sits an automatic micro-rotor movement, conceived, engineered, and assembled entirely in-house in close collaboration with Télôs and TMH. At its heart, a tungsten micro-rotor winds two parallel barrels to optimise energy delivery across the full power reserve, extending it to 72 hours, more than three days untouched. The calibre beats at 4 Hz, pairing precision with exceptional reliability.

Stunning NAC galvanic treatment bridges reflect the Stollenwurm, crawling through the movement, a ruby in his eye.

Each piece highlights a single hour marker in a bright color, the others are all dark, to blend in with the dial. The bright hour is the watch's serial number. Twelve in total.
