Description
Toledano & Chan is about form and material, shape, and sculpture. With the B/1, we created a new language, drawing from brutalist architecture-specifically Marcel Breuer. As we develop, we will create new words and phrases in this language, expanding the Toledano & Chan perspective outwards.
The b1.2 continues the design language of the b/1, but instead of extending the design with steel, we used sapphire crystal, creating an asymmetrical crystal that counterbalances the shape of the watch head . Continuing the theme of opposites, the strong architectural case and bracelet are counterbalanced by the soft organic tones of Tahitian mother of pearl.
