Strapped on a green alligator bracelet, this new variation sublimates the distinctive rounded-square case, ornamented with gadroons, and encapsulates the spirit of this creation that was one of Andy Warhol’s seven Piaget watches in the early 70’s. An era when Yves Piaget became a close friend of the artist, traveling with him to events in New York, Palm Beach or joining him at Studio 54 and Regine’s. Andy Warhol even invited Yves Piaget to be the subject of a feature in Interview Magazine, with the young artist and gallerist, Robert Lee Morris, as the interviewer. A true piece of art and history.
