Description
A jewellery expression of the Le Temps en Équilibre – Time in Balance – collection, this interpretation of the AK-10 extends Bleu Azur des Sommets – the Maison's signature colour, inspired by the crystalline skies of the Alps – to the very heart of the display.
Suspended within the Maison’s patented dual-disc architecture, the upper disc is adorned with 230 brilliant-cut diamonds (approximately 0.70 ct) meticulously set against a deep blue background. Rather than seeking overt brilliance, the composition reveals itself through movement: each diamond catches and releases light as the wrist turns, creating a subtle, living radiance that echoes the sunburst-finished blue motif of the lower disc. Together, the two elements evoke the clarity of an Alpine sky sharpened by winter frost.
This chromatic harmony continues throughout the watch. The bezel is set with 120 brilliant-cut diamonds (0.30 ct), while the 4N/5N gold folding clasp is adorned with a further 76 diamonds (0.34 ct). Across dial, bezel and clasp, a single shade of blue unfolds through multiple expressions of light, texture and reflection.
Animating the ensemble is the AK10 calibre, the Maison’s hand-wound manufacture movement. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and delivering a 60-hour power reserve, it combines contemporary chronometric performance with the purity and tactile pleasure of manual winding, bringing mechanical substance to this refined jewellery creation.
Supplied by the brand to the GPHG for its entry.
