Description

BOVET's first chronograph in a Fleurier case returns to the style of the earliest wrist-chronographs of the late 1920s — a single-button control with the elapsed chronograph minutes and the running small seconds vertically aligned. This type of chronograph, with a pulsometer scale, is known as a doctor's chronograph. The physician times 15 pulse-beats and reads off the pulse rate per minute on the scale. The chronograph stop, start and zero are controlled by successive pressures on a cabochon-topped button, coaxial with the crown. The original chronograph system is in fact much easier to use than the two-button chronograph.Unlike BOVET's Sportster chronographs, this watch has a slower-beating movement (21,600v/h) and is manually wound.Product Specifications:Diameter – case (total) 39,00 mmHeight – case 10,45 mmDomed, non-reflecting, sapphire-crystal glassCrown: 18k gold with natural cabochon blue sapphire18k gold strap-bolts with natural cabochon blue sapphires Back cover closed with 6 18k gold screwsBow set with 43 diamonds, 0.53 cts.Manually wound single-button chronograph, calibre 10BM01, 10 1/2 lignes, 21,600 variations per hourFull back coverChronograph function with a single push piece integrated in crown.
