Video Delma expands its Racing Collection with the introduction of the Delma Oceanmaster, a powerful nautical watch inspired by the world's best seafarers Created in collaboration with the worlds best offshore sailors through our partnership with the IMOCA Ocean Masters, the Delma Oceanmaster combines over 90 years of expertise in watchmaking with in-depth knowledge of navigation at sea. In our role as the Official Timekeeper of the Transat New York to Vende Race, Delma worked closely with the worlds best skippers to design the Oceanmaster watch to weather the inherent challenges of one of the toughest sailing races in the world. Drawing on decades of experience building robust divers watches, Delma added vital navigation features, including a nautical bezel and a tactical planner to time and position the crossing of the starting line, to the new Oceanmaster Collection. Whether you are sailing the rough seas or bravely navigating your way through lifes greatest adventures, the Delma Oceanmaster possesses all the design elements and features of a high-end sports watch to help you achieve optimal performance. Inspired by valuable in-depth conversations with sailing masters, the Oceanmaster was purpose-designed to thrive at the intersection of extreme human endeavor and lifes riskiest challenges. Modeled upon the robust casing of the Delma Shell Star divers watch, the Delma Oceanmaster features a helium-valve and is water-resistant to 500 m (1650 ft.). The Oceanmaster sports the all new Delma-branded genuine rubber strap or stainless-steel bracelet and features a very visible date at 6 o'clock. The transparent case back delivers a spectacular glimpse into the decorated automatic movement, the heart of the watch. Getting a clean start is important to winning in life, regardless of the nature of the race. The Delma Oceanmasters tactical planner enables you to determine the best position when crossing the starting line while the nautical bezel with precise compass and point of sail indicators enable you to stay on course.
