Description
Genesis is the inaugural timepiece created by CONSTANTIME, an independent watchmaking atelier founded by Constantin A. Mureşan, in the heart of Transylvania. Designed to represent the brand's identity and vision, Genesis will be produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces, marking the founding year of CONSTANTIME in 2025.
The hand-finished brass dial takes inspiration from the arches of Transilvania’s infamous medieval fortresses. These architectural elements are combined with classic Roman numerals, each enhanced by a subtle shadow reminiscent of a sword's gleam.
A circular satin finish enhances the way light moves across the dial, while a soft blue gradient reflects the depth of the Transylvanian sky. The hour and minute hands are individually crafted and hand-finished, featuring a refined sword-shaped design that reinforces the watch's connection to heritage, craftsmanship, and tradition.
At its heart beats Swiss self-winding mechanical, distinguished by an elegant black rhodium finish, giving it a distinctive and modern appearance. The movement offers a 53-hour power reserve and can be viewed through a transparent sapphire crystal case back, allowing the wearer to appreciate the intricate mechanics and finishing that animate this timepiece.
