Description

Minimalism & Space-time

Moving at the speed of light, gravity is an integral part of our daily lives, but one we can't even see. In a way, it belies dear Newton, who in 1687, observing an apple fall from his tree in the moonlight, postulated the law of universal gravitation. 200 years later, it was Albert Einstein who spoke to us about this phenomenon, in his own, much more global way, explaining that gravitational attraction is caused by a deformation of space and time. It's mind-boggling. And if proof were needed, it demonstrates the genius of this exceptional man who, long before he could demonstrate it, understood that time and gravity are intimately linked! GRAVITY is a minimalist expression of these waves, symbolically reproduced on the dial and thus linked to time, embodied by the inexorable march of the hands. Two waves are intertwined, like those of the earth and the moon. Offered to loved ones or to oneself, it will undoubtedly bring serenity. This is what makes it so easy to identify with this timepiece equipped with our mechanical movement, animated by the pulsating waves of the escapement spring that pushes the hands forward.
