Description

Born from the collaboration between Beaubleu and the Monnaie de Paris, La Pièce n°2 Argent explores uncharted territory in watchmaking: a monobloc dial, engraved and struck directly from a single piece of metal. This world first achievement stems from the historic expertise of the millennium old Parisian institution, applied here for the very first time to the horological world.

Through the art of coin striking, the components of the dial, traditionally applied separately, fuse into a single, cohesive piece. Polished interiors, indices formed directly from the solid mass, interacting reliefs, and varied surface textures come together in a true technical tour de force, unprecedented for a monobloc dial.

Featuring mirror polished, satin, powdered, or iridescent finishes, each texture interacts with light to reveal the depth of the silver dial and the subtlety of its contours. Beaubleu’s signature floating second hand glides gracefully above, punctuating a metallic landscape that feels almost architectural.

Struck in the heart of Paris, La Pièce n°2 Argent embodies the convergence of historic craftsmanship, technical innovation, and contemporary watch design.
