Description
L’Impétrant is a timepiece built around a fundamental idea: making movement visible, because movement is the very expression of life.
This inaugural creation by Stéphane Pierre places dynamism at the heart of its identity. Hours and minutes are displayed by two long retrograde hands sweeping across ceramic dials. After twelve hours of progression, they simultaneously return to their starting point in a motion that is both spectacular and playful, transforming the reading of time into a true mechanical performance.
At the centre of this composition, the balance wheel is displayed dial-side and elevated to emphasise the movement’s depth. As the beating heart of the watch, it visually punctuates the passage of time while reinforcing the sense of life that animates the piece.
L’Impétrant is powered by a hand-wound calibre developed entirely in-house. Its 11.5 mm balance wheel oscillates at 2.5 Hz, favouring the visual expression of its beats. The 70-hour power reserve is indicated by a vertical cone visible on the dial side and complemented by a display on the reverse side of the watch, while a Maltese cross stopwork system helps preserve chronometric stability throughout the useful operating range of the movement.
Housed in a 39 mm Grade 23 titanium case, l’Impétrant Titanium combines lightness, technical sophistication and elegance.
Its name, borrowed from submarine terminology, resonates with its creator’s journey and the spirit of this first independent horological creation.
