Description
Dalkomm is a young Chinese watch brand. Its name is a condensed expression derived from Dialogue with the Cosmos, implying profound dialogue between time, humanity and the vast universe. We believe every watch is not merely a container for time, but also a medium for the spirit to communicate with the world.
Loong Ascending is an exquisitely crafted piece developed over two years. It combines the loong, a symbol of ancient traditional Eastern culture, with a modern guilloché dial. The loong sculpture is made of sterling silver; its body and scale details are fully hand-carved to make every scale and texture more vivid.
The twelve luminous pillars surrounding the dial are constructed entirely from BGW9 super-luminous material. In traditional Chinese culture, the number twelve forms the framework of heaven, earth, space and time. The loong serves as the core totem within this framework, presiding over vital energy and unifying yin and yang. The design of twelve luminous pillars encircling the central loong grants this watch distinctive symbolic connotations.
Fine scale details of the loong are clearly visible on the case back. There is an ancient Chinese proverb: One sees only the divine loong’s head, never its tail. We extend the loong’s head onto the dial, with its claws embracing the tourbillon movement, while the rest of its form is hidden beneath the dial, shrouding this Eastern-culture timepiece in an aura of mystery.
As DALKOMM’s flagship blockbuster product, Loong Ascending has won the 2026 MUSE Design Platinum Award and 2026 Good Design Award (USA). We hope it will win the affection and recognition of more watch enthusiasts.
