Description
A Swiss made watch that tells time differently, with a unique display: the “displaced hours”. It has been designed together with 100 members of DWISS Watch Design Club. That even during a word pandemic meet (virtually) for the creation of this watch.
Members paid a monthly fee that covered the cost of the watch, providing funds necessary for the production and they received a watch at the end of the project.
Because hours takes longer to pass the “displaced hours” display replaces a traditional hour hand by a hand that moves the hours to the longer circumference of the dial.
The watch have an easy interchangeable metal bracelet / rubber strap mechanism integrated to the case. The case is produced in Ticino and uses Stainless steel 316L and sapphire crystal with double anti-reflection coating.
The dial uses the unique “displaced hours” in a multi layered construction, the hands have Super-LumiNova BG-W9.
