Both play masterfully with asymmetry\u2013 the two rings for the minutes and hours and the applied 31 day ring for the date, joined to the insideof the hours ring, taper towards 6 and 12 oclock respectively. A unique feature is the extraordinarymoon phase indication. It illustrates a generously lit sky in a soft pink or violet which is studded with13 diamonds. The polished, hand-applied Roman numerals and the index marks which are alsostudded with 22 diamonds, together with the circular or vertical brushed dial centre and hours ringcomplete this exceptionally luxurious dial finish.This fine exterior matches the equally fine interior: The richly hand-decorated automatic movementcalibre ML 163 operates a disc with a moon symbol that displays the moons cycle from one newmoon to the next at 6 oclock. As well as the moon phase, the Masterpiece Phase de Lune Diamondsalso displays \u2013 partly with hands and partly using small dial windows \u2013 the seconds, minutes andhours, the date, the weekday and the month.
