The Grandeur Minute Repeater is a mechanical five-minute repeater priced at 7,600 CHF. Delivering a functional, highly finished, loud repeating timepiece in this segment represents an unprecedented horological achievement. Driven by a fully in-house 5-Minute Repeater Module, it delivers a refined chiming experience paired with modern reliability.

Departing from tradition, the watch replaces the side slide-lever with an innovative bezel-actuated triggering mechanism. The module utilizes an independent power system featuring its own self-contained power reserve completely separate from the base movement. Rotating the fluted bezel generates energy by tensioning a dedicated spring inside the module. This independent architecture ensures there is absolutely no effect on the main movement’s accuracy while guaranteeing a stable, consistent chime strength. Upon activation, the mechanism audibly chimes the current time on demand, striking a low-pitched tone for the hours followed by rapid double-strikes to count the elapsed five-minute intervals.

The kinetic layout is showcased through a multi-piece case featuring smoked sapphire crystal panels on both the dial and lateral sides. This transparency allows light to flood the dial-side striking hammers, snails, and centrifugal governor, creating a 360-degree panoramic view of the acoustic kinetics. The dark, translucent sapphire provides a modern frame that contrasts beautifully with the rose gold accents.

The exhibition caseback reveals an intricate, relief-engraved canvas across the movement bridges that celebrates classical music. The surface is deeply textured with flowing musical staves, clefs, notes, and stylized string instruments, creating a stunning interplay of light and shadow that seamlessly unifies the watch’s acoustic function with its visual artistry.
