Description

Tefnut 1001 Nights The Tefnut 1001 Nights was created in cooperation with artist Michael Koh from Singapore. This jewellery watch symbolises the legend of One Thousand and One Nights, in which Scheherazade mesmerises and seduces her king with her stories. The dial shows a mysterious dune landscape beneath a crescent moon and a glittering night sky. The image is circled with 62 white brilliant-cut diamonds and radiant guillochage. The scenery is an artistic inlay composed of precisely cut nacre segments. The iridescence of mother of pearl mean that no two images are precisely the same. The case with two abutting horns has a contoured shape, rising gently from the crown to the 9 oclock side. The lugs are freely suspended on one side and, like the crown, are graced with blue cabochons. Roman numerals, an unusual hour hand, and asymmetric guilloche patterns bless the dial. The bezel is set with a further 60 brilliant-cut, white diamonds. The compact calibre 102.0 movement features all the characteristic movement elements such as the cantilevered balance cock with the Grossmann micrometre screw, raised gold chatons, a separately removable winder module, and the mass-optimised Grossmann balance.
