Description

Triple Mystery Skeleton - The Art of Mystery in Motion

The Triple Mystery Skeleton represents the quintessence of jewellery haute horlogerie, where mechanical excellence meets the art of adornment in perfect harmony. Created around a system of rotating discs that are harmoniously set, and powered by a mechanism and movement developed in house, this timepiece transforms the reading of time into a captivating visual experience.

Franck Muller imagined a watch capable of defying traditional horological codes. The Triple Mystery follows the path opened by the Mystery, which replaced hands with a rotating disc, and the Double Mystery, which introduced two discs for the hours and minutes. This creation goes further by adding a third rotating disc dedicated to the seconds, bringing a new depth and rhythm to the perception of time.

Instead of conventional hands, hours, minutes and seconds are displayed through three rotating discs in continuous motion. The result is hypnotic and almost magical, as time appears to float across the dial. The diamond setting enhances this sensation, guiding the eye through a luminous composition where mechanical movement and jewellery craftsmanship become inseparable.

The technical challenge lies in driving three independent discs with precision, especially the seconds disc, whose rapid rotation requires extreme lightness, stability and energy control. The skeletonized architecture reveals the complexity of the mechanism while preserving the elegance and clarity of the display.

With the Triple Mystery Skeleton, Franck Muller unites high complication, jewellery artistry and visual poetry. More than a timepiece, it is a mechanical choreography of light, motion and mystery, expressing the Maison’s unique ability to turn time into emotion.
