Royale Paris Chrono BPM is a tribute to French Chronograph and to French Touch; a blend of four-on-the-floor house rhythms with filtered soul grooves. Both are French but also dedicated to precise tempo - in between each beat of a second, the melody breathes!
French Manufacture Pequignet brings two heritages together on a single dial. The Chronograph functions and a BPM graduation - beats per minute -.
As with a pulsometer - chronograph activated, 30 drum bass kicks counted - the BPM scale tells your current musical universe: between 110 and 130 BPM, groove to French Touch. At 60 BPM, Reggae sooths a hectic day. From 70 to 95 BPM, it is 90’s rap, or just “Livin’ La Vida Loca”. Beyond 140 BPM, eyes closed, arms in the air, trance music is the atmosphere.
The face of the watch draws on color codes that a whole generation grew up with from the electric blue gradient to the pitch-black nights of minimalist clubs. The sound bar markers, between midnight and 2 a.m., symbolize the importance of unsaturated sound.
In the center of it all, the Calibre Initial® Chronograph serves its role as a metronome.
