Description

The Garrick S7 is the company’s smallest accessible high-end model, however, its comparative affordability does not mean it lacks the firm’s legendary hand craftsmanship.

The frosted edition

The S7 frosted edition features rhodium plated triple guilloche dial with an applied circular grained infilled chapter ring, infilled purple numerals and heat purple'd observatory hands lovingly crafted in Garrick's Norfolk workshop.

The guilloche pattern is engin-tuned on Garrick's historic rose and straight line engine lathes, heightening the model’s visual appeal.

This unique edition features a rhodium-plated basket-weave guilloche.

The 38mm case is made of 904L stainless steel, a grade that provides superior scratch resistance and a notably better finish. The case is frosted using a bead blasting technique. This process causes the metal to harden and makes the surface less prone to scratching.

Unlike Garrick’s costlier models, which feature the brand’s proprietary movement, the S7 is equipped with a vintage Swiss calibre. However, this movement is modified by Garrick and includes the brand’s own bridges as well as rhodium-plated and hand-frosted surfaces. The movement has a textured surface and features a hand engraved frosted balance cock. The S7 is tested and regulated in Garrick’s workshop, ensuring the daily variance does not exceed +5 seconds.

In summary, the frosted edition differs from the previous models in its heat-purple observatory hands, rhodium-plated dial and movement, and frosted case finish.

Supplied by the brand to the GPHG for its entry.
