Description
The P1 – Perseverance embodies Pragma’s founding vision: to offer Swiss watchmaking that is transparent, disciplined, and committed.
Its case is made from solar-forged steel, a 100% recycled alloy melted using a solar furnace in the Swiss Jura. Developed in collaboration with Panatere SA, this material reduces the carbon footprint by a factor of 165 compared to conventional steel. Its multi-component architecture — with interlocking structures and alternating finishes — creates a unique play of light, revealing the subtle and singular character of this exceptional design.
Inside, the watch is powered by the Calibre 1031-1, developed with Chronode SA and certified as a chronometer. It features a variable-inertia balance wheel, a 60-hour power reserve, and a distinctive display of the small seconds and the date via rotating discs.
Every structural component — case, movement, strap — is made from recycled or bio-sourced materials, with full traceability and 100% Swiss Made production.
