Created by independent watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva, this timepiece is shaped by sisu: resilience in the face of the unknown, and an uncompromising philosophy of #notforeveryone.
Burning Orbit
Mars moves in contrast. Its red-gold plated, matte base dial radiates restrained heat — not flame, but smouldering warmth. The tone recalls oxidised metal and celestial dust, glowing softly beneath a veil of frost, as if warmth is present but fading, held in suspension.
Steel is Real
Forged from stainless steel and housed in Sarpaneva’s unmistakable Korona case, Mars combines bold architecture with a distinctive voice. Its open-worked dial reveals depth and shadow, framed by futuristic, stencilled numerals that feel lifted from instruments built for interplanetary travel.
Through the crystal caseback of the Stardust limited edition, the rhodium-plated geometries of Chronode’s ultra-contemporary P.1003 calibre operate with unwavering precision. In Stardust, central seconds give way to a small-seconds display. The layout gave Stepan the freedom to create around the subdial's spacious, acentric placement.. A lunar signature appears in the bespoke winding rotor. The rotor features Sarpaneva's unmistakable New Moon face.
