The Carrera collection has become one of the most iconic, perpetually reinventing itself, reworking the codes that shaped its legend to create a future worthy of its past and present. Born in 1963, the Carrera collection was inspired by the legendary ���Carrera Panamericana Mexico road race�۝. Today the collection presents more refined, pure and modern design for its ladies line. In 2016, more than 50 years after its�� creation, the Carrera collection re affirms its prestigious past and modernize itself to offer women the possibility to have a true fashion icon at their wrists, with a feminine and contemporay size of 39mm. Without anything to envy from biggest fashion names; the case is adorned with a blue calfskin, with a padded effect and diamond-shaped chequerboard stitching. The movement is a quartz movement with date. The blue sunray dial features hand-applied faceted rose gold plated indexes, rose gold plated minute and hour hand with white luminescent markers and a rose gold plated second hand. With a 39 mm diameter, the case is made of polished steel and the bezel hosts 72 top Wesselton 1.40 mm diamonds for a total of 0.79 ct. The glass is a double anti-reflective curved scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The Carrera 39 mm has a 100 m water resistance and is adorned with a blue leather strap with quilted pattern and a polished steel folding clasp with safety push-buttons. The quest for refinement is taken to extremes with rose gold plated hands and indexes, all delicately hand-fitted by our dial-making artisans. Making the Carrera not only an icon of automobile sports, but also a fashion icon.
