In 2015, carrera comes back with a new case, new architecture, new conception and new caliber. It is the tag heuer carrera - heuer 01. A manufacture chronograph movement, named 01 after first tag heuer founder edouard heuer and because it represents the markedly horological development of the calibre 1887, on which the new carrera collection will be designed. Tag heuer carrera calibre heuer 01 chronograph presents a supremely clean design revealing all the technical details of this movement. On the dial side the openworked date disc is visible. On the case-back, its red column wheel, the skelton chronograph bridge and the back weight also draw the eye into the mechanism. The case is no longer the single piece traditionally used by tag heuer, but modular with 12 different components increasing the future creative possibilities of this collection. The carrera calibre heuer 01 chronograph is a symbol of the avant-garde tag heuer spirt, always looking into the future and exploring possibilites.
