Description
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Arty Automata redefines contemporary high watchmaking by elevating the automata and Grand Feu enamel to new heights. Inspired by the House’s artistic collaborations, its audacious dial is defined by an animated dialogue between form and perspective, conjuring a world of pure sensory vibrancy.
The dial of the Tambour Taiko Arty Automata is nothing short of an explosion of color and movement. Twenty miniature elements, arranged across four different levels, endow the watch with an extraordinary depth and dimension. The result of more than 250 hours of painstaking hand work, the dial is composed of 23 distinct shades of champlevé enamel. The LFT AU05.01 caliber and its rotor are finely decorated with motifs that echo the dial’s own visual narrative. The white gold rotor is rendered in miniature painting, a recognized specialty of La Fabrique des Arts.
As a final touch, a shimmering cascade of baguette-cut sapphires and rubies sweeps across the bezel, flooding the watch with color and light.
A press of the pusher at 8 o’clock sets the dial in motion, and seven interconnected animations unfold with the precision of a choreographed performance: four Monogram Flowers spin in alternating directions, the heart and eye flicker to life, and the word “LOVE” transforms into “MOVE”, as a call to action. The tourbillon, shaped as a peace symbol, turns with calm deliberation, one full revolution every minute. The watch is powered by the automatic LFT AU05.01 caliber, developed and crafted at the La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.
