Description

The Terra Nova field watch collection references and is inspired by military pocket watches of the early 20th century. Styled and meticulously crafted, Terra Nova includes all the hallmarks of these original timepieces, capturing their rugged elegance, practicality, simplicity, and essential functionality, reinterpreted for the 21st century.

Featuring a contemporary, geometrical cushion case, the Terra Nova is elevated through the use of 904L stainless steel and a combination of brushed and polished finishing for a unique and iconic wristwatch. A bi-directional turning bezel features the cardinal signs of a solar compass, complemented by a linear gradient dial with a small seconds sub dial and power reserve indicator.

The watch’s dial features oversized numerals cut in full-block SuperLumiNova® for increased legibility in low light conditions. The SuperLumiNova® application is continued across the indexes on the broken railroad minute track and vintage inspired hands. The closed case back is engraved with a unique design featuring a charted map of the world and the words ‘Terra Nova’.

The oversized crown combines functionality and crafted elegance, directly referencing field watches from an era where gloved hands needed to operate the crown with accuracy. It is enhanced through the application of Bremont’s new logo ‘The Wayfinder’, reinforcing the brand’s passion for adventure and exploration.

Supplied by the brand to the GPHG for its entry.
