Description
The manta ray is a sentinel of ocean health highly sensitive to its environment and a key indicator species of marine ecosystems. We have captured its graceful, fluid motion and translated it into mechanical form on the wrist, a quiet tribute to the ocean and our commitment to its protection.
At the heart of the timepiece beats the CAL 9301, an in-house 3D biomimetic free-sprung flying tourbillon movement. Powered by a symmetrical dual-mainspring parallel architecture, it delivers 60 hours of power reserve at a 4Hz frequency.
The tourbillon bridge is meticulously sculpted in three dimensions and mirror-polished, giving rise to two elegantly curved manta rays. As the tourbillon rotates, they seem to glide through the fully transparent sapphire case, intertwined, inseparable, moving as one. It is a living metaphor for the symbiotic bond between humanity and the sea.
