Description

Adopting a truly architectural approach, Montblanc's designers have conceived the Minerva Unveiled Chronograph Limited Edition with five openings on its case band. This unique feature allows light to flood the hand-wound manufacture movement, with its exquisite hand-finishing, creating a play of light and depth through the pillar-constructed mechanism. This enables the wearer to fully admire its 291 components through these crystal windows.

To the delight of those peering into the depths of its mechanism, this latest limited edition features the recent Calibre MB M17.26. Much like the Calibre MB M16.26 that powered previous versions, this monopusher calibre has been inverted to reveal all its mechanical action on the dial side. While it might initially be mistaken for a skeletonized movement, a closer inspection reveals that this chronograph is entirely showcased on the visible face.

To allow a deeper immersion into the watch's heart and to appreciate the craftsmanship of its individual components, the chronograph complication is mounted on pillars. The German silver plates and bridges, colored in brown, lend a contemporary touch to the ensemble.

Limited to 30 pieces, this edition is housed in a 43 mm 18-carat yellow gold case, featuring a fluted bezel and a skeletonized sapphire crystal dial. It is complemented by a brown alligator leather strap and a triple folding clasp, also in 18-carat yellow gold, equipped with a fine adjustment system.

Supplied by the brand to the GPHG for its entry.
